“CLAIMING COMMON SPACES”は、ドイツ、ベルリンの劇場HAU Hebbel am Ufer(HAU1, HAU2, HAU3)にて2018年6月21日から23日に開催されたプロジェクトである。都市・コモンズ・アートをキーワードとして、アーティストや社会学者らによるパネルディスカッションやワークショップ、インスタレーションが行われた。
会場の一つであるHAU2のセットデザインを小林研究室が行なった。
2017年秋に実現したワーグナープロジェクトの会場構成から展開した、L字型のストラクチャーを提案した。様々なレベルのフロア、階段、スクリーンやテキスタイルといった要素の配置によって、多くの観客が集まるレクチャーや少人数のグループがそれぞれのフロアで行うワークショップなど、多様な使われ方を許容する空間が実現した。
“CLAIMING COMMON SPACES” is a project that took place from 21 to 23 June 2018 at the HAU Hebbel am Ufer (HAU1, HAU2, HAU3), a theater in Berlin, Germany. Panel discussions, workshops and installations were held by artists and sociologists with urban and commons art as keywords.
Kobayashi’s lab designed the set for HAU2, one of the venues.
We proposed an L-shaped structure, developed from the venue structure of the Wagner project that was realized in the fall of 2017. The various levels of floors, stairs, screens, textiles, and other elements create a space that can be used in a variety of ways, such as a lecture for a large audience or a workshop for a small group of people on each floor.
