2019年8月12日-17日の6日間、明治大学中野キャンパスで行われたワークショップに参加しました。ハーバード大学デザイン大学院の教授・学生を迎え、本研究室の他に明治大学、法政大学、慶応義塾大学の学生が参加しました。

フィジカルとデジタル、2つのリアリティの間にあるゴースト（目には見えないが感じられるものごと）を見つけ、5つのチームに分かれて、夜の上野公園を敷地に人々がゴーストを認知できるような提案を行いました。初日はGSD教授のレクチャーを踏まえ、明治大学の学生のリサーチを元に実際に上野を探索しました。その後は各チームに分かれて提案をブラッシュアップし、最終成果物としてA5のブックレットを制作、最終日は教授やゲストをお招きして発表を行いました。

I participated in a six-day workshop at Meiji University’s Nakano Campus from August 12-17, 2019. We welcomed professors and students from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and students from Meiji University, Hosei University, and Keio University, in addition to our laboratory, participated in the event.

After finding a ghost (something invisible but felt) between two realities, physical and digital, we were divided into five teams to make a proposal that would allow people to recognize the ghost on the grounds of Ueno Park at night. On the first day, we actually explored Ueno on the basis of the lecture by Professor GSD and the research of the students of Meiji University. After that, each team was divided into teams to brush up their proposals and produce the final product, an A5 booklet, and on the final day, they invited professors and guests to present their work.
